How do I find the location of an IP address?

Question from Shania R:
The address is located in different area. Have tried my own ip address but it’s hidden. If anyone can find it? I’ve tried many websites but just unable to find it.

To find its location that would be great.

    There are only a few IP addresses which contain a specific location. These sticky IPs. Most IP addresses are dynamic which means it is a sever assigned IP address therefore; can swicth from one location to another at any given time. Peharps it can be narrowed down to a single region or state. but thats about it.

    Well, if other people have a better suggestion that would help.
