How do I hide my IP address?

For looking at department store is there software or shareware programs that do this? I don’t want to visit their site and have tons of email from them after doing so like 10 per day. Thanks

    Definitely get yourself a good proxy server software. You will have to spend a few dollars a month to ensure you are protected and so you know that you have a company (people) to talk to if you have a problem. A few bucks a month is worth it to cut down on spam and protect yourself while using the internet.

    Check out the one I use. It has a pretty detailed support section that has a lot of good information about protecting yourself while online - Anonymizer (free trial).
